Since 2008, I have kept a poetry website, Susan Noyes Anderson Poems, with over 300 poems on various topics, including LDS ones. The site serves my purposes well as (1) a place to store my poems (better than a desk drawer!) and (2) a resource for people seeking poems on specific topics for non-commercial use. It has been well-received, and I continue to contribute new material on a regular basis.
Having said that, Susan Noyes Anderson Poems is not the right venue for the kind of discussion I hope to create here. Its express purpose has been to display my poems on the page simply, without the distraction of comments or explanation, so I find myself wanting to expound on them sometimes with no place to do it. I also want to share and discuss poems by other LDS poets that cannot be included on my poetry website, which is reserved for original poems I have written.
If you are a reader, writer, or lover of LDS poetry, I hope you will enjoy visiting here with me. And I hope you will take the time to join the discussion by commenting freely. I will also consider submissions from other poets who would like to share their work on this blog. Contact information can be found in my profile.
Thanks, and I hope to see a lot of you!

ReplyDeleteIf contemporary man-made climate changers had lived in Sodom & Gomorrah they would have blamed CO2 emissions for the fire & brimstone.
